How does the admission process work?A tailored Enrollment process to ensure each family has the opportunity to receive christian education.
Step 1 ENROLLMENT APPLICATION

Admission to West Jefferson Christian School is based on a combination of academic readiness, character, and family alignment with the mission of the school. Applicants are expected to:
Score at or above grade level on the admissions assessment.
Receive a favorable teacher recommendation and/or pastoral recommendation (requested electronically upon submission of the application).
Show academic competency through prior report cards and standardized testing (high school applicants should have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher).
Exhibit strong behavior and character consistent with the expectations of the school.
Have parents/guardians who agree to the Student & Family Handbook and who are committed to active church involvement and regular attendance.
Receive final approval from the School Director.

Open grades will be posted on our website. New students may submit applications (open grades only) for the 2026–27 school year and begin the admissions process. Please note that enrollment is not guaranteed.June 30, 2026
Open grades will close for enrollment. -
Enrollment applications are not subject to a fee.
Step 2MEET WITH THE DIRECTOR

Your family will receive a personal tour of our facility and an introduction to our Kingdom Education philosophy and approach to learning.

Your child will complete an academic placement assessment. This helps us understand their current academic level and determine how best to support their growth. Prior to the meeting, we may also request academic transcripts from their current school.

While your child completes the placement assessment, parents will review the expectations and responsibilities of partnering with WJCS as part of our school community.
Step 3JOIN THE FAMILY

You will receive an email from the Director confirming whether your child has been approved for enrollment.

WJCS partners with families through a network of supporters within and beyond our community to help meet financial needs. If your child is accepted, your acceptance email will include a link with details on financial aid eligibility and instructions to apply for assistance.

Yes. WJCS is an approved ClassWallet provider. If your child is accepted, your email will also include a link with additional information on how to use ClassWallet for tuition and payments.
