How does the admission process work?

TUITION & FEES

  • Annual tuition is $5,500 per student, payable over 10 monthly installments.

    Families may pay online through our secure payment system or submit payment by check.

    To support families who desire a WJCS education within their local Christian community, a community tuition rate of $2,750 per student annually is available.

  • We are honored to partner with families who invest in Christian education for multiple children and actively participate in the life of our church community:

    • Church Member Discount: 7%

    • Second Child: 10%

    • Third Child: 20%

    • Fourth Child: 30%

    • Fifth Child: 40%

    • Sixth Child: 50%

    (Discounts are applied in a structured order and may not be combined beyond multi-child reductions.)

  • There is no application fee.

    Additional costs may include:

    • Optional club participation fees

    • School uniforms and PE uniforms (purchased through approved school channels)

FINANCIAL AID

  • Household Income: $0 – $35,000

    • Designed for families with significant financial need

    • May include single-income households, hardship cases, or multiple dependents

    • Eligible for up to full tuition assistance depending on funding

    Typical support level: 75%–100% tuition coverage

  • Household Income: $35,000 – $55,000

    • Aligns closely with your community’s average household income

    • Represents working families needing meaningful tuition support

    • Most common scholarship tier

    Typical support level: 40%–75% tuition coverage

  • Household Income: $55,000 – $80,000

    • Families who can contribute significantly but still need assistance

    • Often includes families with multiple children or single-income households with children

    • Assistance helps bridge affordability gap

    Typical support level: 10%–40% tuition coverage

CLASS WALLET

  • West Jefferson Christian School is an approved ClassWallet provider. This allows eligible families to apply state-approved education funds toward tuition and required school fees in a simple and streamlined way. Our goal is to support families in making Christ-centered education accessible while maintaining clarity and ease in the payment process.

  • ClassWallet funds may be applied toward:

    • Tuition payments

    • Required school fees associated with enrollment

    These funds are directed toward core educational costs to ensure students can fully participate in the academic program at WJCS.

  • Important Guidelines for Families

    Please note the following guidelines regarding the use of ClassWallet funds:

    • ClassWallet funds may not be used for uniforms or PE uniforms.

    • Uniform purchases must be made separately through the school’s approved ordering process.

    • Families are responsible for any expenses not covered by ClassWallet, including optional programs or activities not included under approved tuition and fee structures.

    • All ClassWallet transactions must follow program requirements and approval guidelines.
